Tyler Azcano, a Florida A&M signee, won the men's 100-meter dash gold medal for the United States in a wind-legal 10.26 seconds at the Pan American U20 Championships at Jose A. Figueroa Freire Stadium in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Azcano, who ran 10.58 into a strong headwind in the prelims, became the third consecutive men's 100-meter dash gold medalist for the Americans.
